BALLESTAS ISLANDS AND PARACAS-ICA-NASCA BUS - 225 KM - ABOUT 3 HOURS OF TRAVEL Pick-up at 7.45 am - Early morning excursion to the Ballestas Islands. Together with our area manager you will go to the embaradero to board the motorboat that will take you to the islands. After about 15 minutes you will make a first stop at the majestic Candelabrum, the famous geoglyph of Paracas, whose meaning is still shrouded in mystery, which you can observe and photograph directly from your boat. We will then resume sailing to the islands. The show will be incredible! Once they reach their destination, thousands of birds will fly over your heads, penguins and cormorants will watch you from the cliffs beaten by the waves, families of sea lions will dance around the boat or will look at you placidly from their sunny rock in the middle of the sea. AREQUIPA – CHIVAY - 148 KM - APPROXIMATELY 4 HOURS OF TRIP (STOPPING NOT INCLUDED) 07:30 - 08:00 The excursion to the world-famous Cañon del Colca will begin early in the morning and will last for a total of 2 days / 1n in shared service with other travelers. During the route we will be able to appreciate, during several panoramic stops, the landscapes of the Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve, where South American camelids (vicuñas, llamas and alpacas) will be seen and above all where we will be delighted by splendid Andean scenarios. We will stop to take unforgettable photos at the Mirador de Chucura (mirador de los volcanes) and then go down to Chivay (3,600 masl). VISITE A CUSCO – City Tour + Sacsayhuaman - Tambo Machay – Puka Pukara - Kenko Dopo colazione, tra le ore 08:00 e 08:30 verrete raggiunti in hotel da una delle nostre guide per realizzare il city tour del centro storico del Cusco – patrimonio culturale dell’umanità – ed a seguire la visita ai quattro siti archeologici che circondano la città. La visita prevede l’immancabile sosta alla meravigliosa Plaza Mayor, una della più belle d’America, e al Templo del Sol o Qoriqancha. Si continua fuori città per visitare i misteriosi complessi Incas di Qenqo, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara e l’impressionante Fortezza di Sacsayhuamán, costruita strategicamente su una collina che domina Cusco. La fortezza è famosa per le sue enormi pietre, che formano le pareti esterne del complesso, incastrate fra loro con una perfezione inspiegabile. Alcune di queste pietre superano i 9 metri di altezza e pesano più di 350 tonnellate. Rientro in hotel verso le 13:30.
